Of Squirrels and Grasshoppers
07:59pm 12/09/2006
  REST OF THE WORLD VERSION:

The squirrel works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building and improving his house and laying up supplies for the winter. The grasshopper thinks he's a fool, and laughs and dances and plays the summer away. Come winter, the squirrel is warm and well fed. The shivering grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.

I like my LJ layout.

I've put the main article behind a cut below as it was pretty long.

Anyone who reads this probably knows from Terri's journal that I am planning to move to America soon to finally live with her! I feel pretty positive about it working out. If any snitches happen along the way, it may take extra effort with more headaches, but won't bring the process to a halt.

In other news, Oblivion is out today. This has prompted me to send an e-mail to Andrew in an attempt to lead him towards purchasing it. I have been spending a lot of my time with games while Terri is occupied with work, mainly replaying Final Fantasy 7, which Terri bought for me for the Playstation, as my PC version started becoming too much of a chore to keep working with XP. It has helped keep me entertained, though yesterday (As unbelievable as it sounds), I got really bored with everything and kept my head on my desk waiting for Terri to get home.

And now...

Still have not called up to have my laptop taken in to get the shift key fixed. I'm living with it. Main reason is due to my computer still being down. Hasn't turned out to be a big issue though as laptop is filling in as a main computer quite nicely. I actually don't like the idea of running some programs on my desktop PC as I have this feeeeling they're slower than on my laptop.

I know I've been bad with updating. Sue me!

Everytime I try to keep my journal updated, I post about one or two posts before abandoning it again. I suppose it has something to do with all the immature posts of the past, which lingered around the calendar. I have taken action to the guilty, cleansed the journal, and am now ready to start from fresh.

While not every post will be friends only (Especially ones about politics, current world conditions, etc etc. I mean, Bush and Blair supporters NEED to be able to see some things), anything involving my private life will be restricted and you will have to be on my friends list to see it. So comment if you want to be added.

PS, layout is still being worked on.
